Husqvarna Pistol m/40 “Swedish Lahti” — 9mm
Swedish military Husqvarna Pistol m/40, commonly known as the Swedish Lahti, chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum. The pistol was produced by Husqvarna Vapenfabriks AB under Swedish license from Finnish designer Aimo Lahti’s L-35 service-pistol design. Sweden adopted the design in 1940 after wartime conditions interrupted deliveries of Walther pistols from Germany. Husqvarna production began during World War II and continued through 1946, with roughly 84,000 m/40 pistols ultimately produced.
