RARE Hi Standard model G 380acp

I have a rare Hi Standard model G 380acp. These where made between 1947 to 1950 and only 7,800 where made, this one is just before the middle of them all with all matching numbers (frame, removable barrel and side). Hi Standard made them for the war for the OSS, and the war end before they could deliver and send this to the Commercial mark. The started at #100 to the 7,801 serial numbers with only one made under #100.

This gun is in great shape for its age. Runs smooth and all the bluing is in good shape. The slide is lightly stamped on the model from the factory. The bore is in solid shape with still alot of life in it, and magazine is working like it should be. There is nice hand made grips on it. This gun doesn’t take down like the 22lr. It’s has a latch infrastructure of the trigger guard that allows you to remove the barrel then the slide. I would think if you have a good gun smith. You could have a 9mm luger barrel made for it.
