As per the title, the best upper for legal full auto fire! Whether you’re using a registered receiver, RLL, RDIAS or FRT or binary trigger, those barrels get HOT, and this was designed by COLT as a military contract upper but they lost out to HK going on 20 years ago. This is an updated (and shorter) version of the classic and venerable LMG Light Machine Gun project from the 1980s, a mag-fed SAW Squad Automatic Weapon of sorts. It features a heavy SOCOM profile barrel without flats or steps cut in it (so heavier than SOCOM) and a proprietary heat sink mechanism to dissipate heat from sustained fire and mag dumps. This is the smoothest M16 upper I have every shot, check my youtube video for an example. It has a stamped C upper receiver, cage code barrel, RADIAN Raptor charging handle, steel not plastic BUIS, and the COLT proprietary flip-up front sight adopted from the 1980s DOE Department of Energy SMG project. Armorer dot under front sight. All original Colt NIB unfired comes with original box and wick in barrel. A SPECTACULAR, highly sought after upper, priced lower than anywhere else I can find.
