This is a New Haven, Connecticut-made rifle featuring the highly regarded controlled-round-feed action with the Mauser-style claw extractor and three-position safety. The rifle is in excellent condition with only minor cosmetic wear and has been well cared for. It has a 24” barrel, synthetic Black Shadow stock and hinged floorplate magazine
The 7mm WSM is an outstanding cartridge for elk, deer, antelope, and other western big game, offering excellent long-range performance with manageable recoil. The cartridge has excellent ballistics. This rifle has been reliable and accurate. This is a great opportunity to own one of the classic New Haven Model 70s, which continue to increase in value.

This rifle is an excellent choice for someone who already reloads or plans to reload, as brass and component bullets remain available and handloading allows you to get the most out of this outstanding cartridge. I do have brass that I can include in the sale.
