Very nice Winchester Model 70 chambered in .280 Remington, manufactured in New Haven, Connecticut.

This is a classic walnut-and-blued-steel Model 70 in one of the less-common and very desirable hunting chamberings.

The .280 Remington is an excellent all-around hunting cartridge, offering a great combination of trajectory, manageable recoil and performance for deer, elk and similar North American game.

This is a good-looking, traditional New Haven Model 70 that has been well cared for. The .280 Remington chambering makes it considerably more interesting than the more commonly encountered Model 70 calibers.
