Description
Inherited Winchester Model 1897 12-gauge pump-action shotgun. Serial number 288661, believed to date to approximately 1905.
This is an older Winchester sporting shotgun with visible wear, aged metal finish, and wear to the wood stock. The stock near the receiver has a wrap or tape around it, and I have not determined whether there is any damage underneath.
The barrel is marked Winchester Model 97, 12 GA, FULL.
I have never fired this shotgun and cannot guarantee its mechanical condition or safety. It is being sold as-is, in its current condition.
A potential addition for a Winchester collector or antique firearm enthusiast.
Located in Sandy, Utah. Please message me with questions or reasonable offers.
