Star Progressive Reloading Presses

Description

For sale are two Star Machine Works progressive presses. I’m helping a family member downsize, he can’t reload safely with his dementia 🙁 and is giving up his favorite hobby.

Included are tool heads for 38 Spl x2, 44 Spl and 45 ACP. I have collected all of the parts I could identify that belong to these presses, one is complete, the second may need a few parts as he bought it used in 2017 and was getting it up and working through eBay purchases, the other one he bought new in ~ 1986. FYI, Star Machine Works went out of business in the 1990s, so if you need an easy press to maintain I recommend Dillon, Hornady, Forster, etc. These Star presses are great and built like tanks, but there is no factory support. I thought about keeping one for .38 Spl but couldn’t justify it with how little I shoot that round.
