Tikka T3X Superlite 300 Win Mag

Selling my Tikka T3X Superlite chambered in .300 Win Mag. This is a Sportsman’s Warehouse exclusive that should not have been sold as a Superlite in this caliber. It tried to kick me into a chiropractor visit with every shot, so I added weight to the stock and a Limb Saver recoil pad. Now it’s comfortable to shoot, but extreme backcountry hunters worried about every ounce might not be happy with it. It was originally 6.5 pounds, but now it’s just over 8 pounds, 9.4 pounds with the scope. The scope is a vortex viper 6.5-20×50 bdc dead hold. It’s mounted with Talley rings. This is the gen 1 model and does not have a threaded barrel.
It’s everything you’d expect from a Tikka: consistently accurate with any ammo I’ve tried, smooth action, and a crisp trigger. I’d love to keep it, but we need the cash more than I need this. Asking $750 for just the rifle and rings, or $1200 with the scope included.

I’m willing to remove the weight I added, but only if you purchase the rifle and request it. It was a lot of work to add the weight without changing the outside of the stock, and I don’t want to remove it just because. I don’t think a lot of people realize how hard 300 win mag kicks in a super light rifle. I’m happy to carry the extra weight to make sure my shots are more accurate.
