Tikka T3 .243 Winchester – 1:8 Twist Threaded Barrel – Vortex Viper PST 6-24×50 FFP

Selling my customized Tikka T3 chambered in .243 Winchester. This rifle has had a barrel swap to a 1:8 twist threaded barrel, allowing it to take advantage of heavier/high-BC .243 bullets as well as traditional hunting loads.

The rifle has been Cerakoted in Black Cherry, and the bolt received a DFL (dry-film lubricant) coating for an exceptionally smooth action. It is currently set up in a Tikka Superlite stock with a Limbsaver recoil pad.

The replacement barrel has an extremely low round count. I have fired only one box (20 rounds) of Barnes VOR-TX 80gr TTSX ammunition through it since the barrel swap.

Very nice, lightweight Tikka setup with an essentially new fast-twist barrel. With only approximately 20 rounds through the current barrel, the 1:8 twist makes this a versatile .243 for coyotes/predators, varmints, target shooting, or deer, with the ability to take advantage of modern heavier/high-BC .243 bullets.
