Description

Custom Soviet Mosin-Nagant 1891/59 Precision Build
Up for sale is a unique, high-precision custom build based on a storied 1891/59 Soviet Mosin-Nagant action. Originally manufactured at the Izhevsk Arsenal in 1943, this rifle was selected for the 1959 carbine conversion program—an era known for producing some of the most accurate Mosin actions available.
Key Features:
• Action: 1943 Izhevsk receiver with clean Soviet “Hammer & Sickle” markings.
• Configuration: 1891/59 Carbine designation, offering a rugged, battle-proven foundation.
• Custom Stock: High-grade
• Enhanced Bolt: Professional turned-down bolt handle modification for seamless scope clearance.
• Upgrades: Fitted with heavy-duty scope rings and a rubber recoil pad for extended range comfort.
This is a rare hybrid of WWII history and modern target-shooting ergonomics. It’s a rock-solid performer perfect for long-range enthusiasts or collectors looking for a “sporterized” piece with exceptional character.
