Description

Listed is a Smith and Wesson 38 top break revolver.

This pistol is the 3rd model and made in 1893 based off of the serial number.

The nickel plating is mostly intact with some minor rub off on the cylinder, and some minor nicks and scratches on it. Thats to be expected for being over 130 years old. The bore is in good contidion.

There is a small chunck of the grip that has broken off on the bottom of the grip on the right side. It doesn’t affect the feel or function of the pistol. I’ve seen replacement grips go for a cheap as 20 bucks just never got around to doing it.

It is a double and single action pistol. The single action does not currently work, the hammer will not stay cocked back. But the double action still functions with no problem.

IMPORTANT

This pistol is chambered in 38 smith and wesson not 38 special. The cartirdges are not interchangeable. Ammo is still being made by major manufacturers such as Federal, PPU and Winchester.

Willing to meet up for those that are interested within reasonable distance.
