Smith and Wesson 340 project

Description

This is a well used and well loved revolver that has gotten to the point where I no longer care to carry it due to a potential timing concern. One of the cylinders will occasionally drop the hammer nearly simultaneously to the cylinder locking into place. It has not caused serious issues but I think it needs some tinkering before returning to daily use. Unfortunately, I do not have the skills or funds to bring it back to life. I’m sad to see it go because it is an absolute dream to carry. The person I purchased from explained that it spent most of its life as a back up to a police officer and that is where it got the ceracote from.

I am discounting it steeply because I am selling it as is. Hopefully someone savvy with revolvers can take advantage of the situation and get a sweet little carry. I really love snubboes and I’m open to trades for other small frame revolvers or offers that would help me get into the ballpark of replacing it with a similar budget version. Thanks for checking it out!

(The knives are just for scale and for fun. Not included. Thanks!)
