Scout Rifle 308, Mauser VZ24 32acp, 22lr chamber adapters, 5/8 24 threaded

Description

308 Scout rifle, build by a gunsmith friend years ago in the period between the first gen Steyr Scout and Ruger Gunsite Scout rifles. The rifle is build on VZ24 action (K98 clone). The safety is the push forward type, bent bolt handle, Timney trigger, ghost ring sights, 18″ Douglas medium contour barrel threaded 5/8 24, paracord sling, hollow stock with matchsticks, boresnake, ammo, and chamber adapters. The scope is an old Tasco 2-7x, but has kept zero all these years on both rifles. The Chamber adapters are 22lr (short, less useful) and 32acp (awesome). With a suppressor the 32acp adapter is unbelievably quiet and very accurate but limited in range. Using 308 the accuracy is what you’d expect from a Douglas barrel. Basically a hunter’s or survivalist’s dream do all rifle.

I have 2 of these, this is the one that doesn’t get used much, just thinning the herd.
