Description
This listing is for a Remington 700 Short Action rifle chambered in 308 Win. The rifle has the factory heavy barrel with a Surefire Socom muzzle brake. The barreled action currently has an EGW 20 MOA rail and is mounted in a McMillan A4 fiberglass stock built to USMC M40A3/5 specifications. The stock includes the original box and packaging as received from McMillan. It also includes the Badger Ordnance M5 DBM bottom metal and a 5 round AICS pattern magazine.
This rifle and stock were originally intended to be the base for an M40A3 build project (the short action is a correct “G” prefix for clones), however, I purchased a completed shop build M40A5, and no longer have need for this rifle.
