ProTemp 220btu Kerosene Heater

ProTemp Silent Drive 220. This is a 220 btu kerosene with silent drive (does not use a noisy compressor for fuel injection like most torpedo heaters). It is remarkably quieter than other heaters. I bought the heater as, “needs work,” replaced parts, threw fresh paint on it and it runs like a champ. This heater is just too much for any of the work spaces I have. This heated my two-car garage from 30 to 70 degrees in about three minutes. It’s brutal. Would be great for a larger shop. Will run diesel, but kerosene burns a bit cleaner. Kerosene can be bought in bulk at many “bulk petroleum” facilities around the State for about $7/gallon (maybe less as Iran is opened back up. But when it only runs a few minutes at a time, it’s also very efficient.
The Silent Drive units are sold under various brand names but most are more than $500 new.
Save yourself a lot of money. Only trade I might be interested in is for an old, running ride-on mower. Would consider one that might need minor repairs. Don’t care about age or cosmetics.
