TALO Distributors 50th Anniversary 1911Mr Armand is a second generation hand engraver. He’s a master member of the Firearms Engraver Guild of America and the 2016 winner of the FEGA Best Engraved Handgun. Ray adapted the engraving design from his winning entry to our Colt 1911

The 50th Anniversary Colt is a Royal Blue Full Sized Government, Series 70 in .45 acp

Ray Armand’s elaborate variation on black leaf scroll work design is precisely reproduced in a deep etch covering the full slide. The intricate design continues over the top of the slide.

Scroll elements of the design appear on the polished frame. The controls are polished and royal blue.

The grips are fancy dark walnut continuing the engraving design with a Colt logo. Grip screws are blue hex. Special serial numbers RFC001-RFC333
