Description

Original JM-stamped Marlin, manufactured in 1989 at the North Haven, Connecticut plant. This is the pre-Remington, pre-Ruger production that collectors and shooters look for. Serial number date code confirms 1989.

Condition: Excellent. Metal retains roughly 95% original blue with no rust, pitting, or scabbard wear. Bore is bright and strong. Wood is original and uncut with the factory finish intact — there are a few light handling dings, most noticeably on the forend edge, shown honestly in the photos. Action is smooth and tight, lever cycles correctly, safety functions as designed.

100% original. No aftermarket parts, no drilling beyond the factory tap holes, no refinish, safety not modified or plugged. Exactly as Marlin built it in 1989.
