Description:

Vintage Peters Cartridge Co. (Cincinnati, Ohio) “Rustless Gildkote” box of .32 Colt Automatic (.32 ACP, also called 7.65mm Browning) centerfire handgun ammunition. The label reads “Smokeless, Center Fire, Metal Cased Bullet, For Colt and Other Automatic Arms.” The box holds 49 of the original 50 cartridges. The base of the cartridge I looked at closely is headstamped “PETERS .32 A.C.P.” and has a purple primer seal. This style of box is believed to date from roughly the 1930s to 1940s.

Condition: The box is worn, with faded and torn edges and torn flaps, as shown in the photos. I have not closely inspected every round.

Sold as a collectible, for display or collection only. This is old ammunition and it may misfire or be unreliable. I do not recommend firing it, and it is not intended for older .32 S&W revolvers. Local pickup in Utah only, no shipping. Buyer must be 21 or older and show a valid ID. Cash only. This ammo is a separate listing and is not part of the revolver combination promotion. The date and description are my good-faith estimate from the label and headstamp, so please verify them yourself.
