Custom light weight 18″ rifle gas AR15 built on LMT Defender lower

I have too many builds in the safe, so it is time to make some room. This AR pattern rifle is built on a brand new LMT Defender lower. The lower has zero rounds fired and is 100% LMT parts. It was ordered through Modern Warriors as a complete lower. The upper is a surplus A1 style with the fixed rear sight. The barrel is cold hammer forged by FN, and made out of their machine gun barrel steel, plus is double chrome lined. Because the barrel is an 18″ with rifle length gas, it was installed in a Mk12 Mod1 clone for about 100 rounds or so, and was professionally dimpled for a Badger Ordnance low profile gas block. It is also very soft shooting. The front sight post is secured with set screws, and could easily be converted back to a low profile gas block. The rest of the rifle is new parts, including the MNP tested BCG (AO Precision), and the charging handle. The charging handle is an off the shelf cheap unit, but was all I had to make the rifle complete. The rifle itself is pretty handy and definitely light weight.

I work odd hours and travel a lot, so texts are best. I can be tricky to get in touch with but the upside is that because I travel all over Utah, I can deliver the rifle anywhere on I-15 between SLC and the Arizona border. I will consider a trade for a Browning Hi-Power in nice condition, or a new Springfield Armory SA-35 with the high polished blue finish.
