1885 High Wall BPCR
Action Type: Lever Actuated Falling Block, Single Shot
Markings: The left shoulder of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN”. The right shoulder reads “BROWNING MODEL 1885 CALIBER .40-65”. The serial number appears at the lower rear of the receiver. The lever/trigger guard bears the Browning Buck Mark logo.
Barrel Length: 30” Half Octagonal/Round Badger Barrel & a 28 ⅞”
The front sight is a globe with interchangeable inserts set in a dovetailed base. The barrel has two drilled and tapped holes behind the rear sight, and the top of the receiver has a pair of drilled and tapped holes for a Unertl-type optic mount.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle features two-piece checkered select walnut with a schnabel forend, straight wrist, fluted straight comb, and a checkered Browning rubber buttpad. The rifle is like new. Text Only.
