Extremely Scarce Military Model of the Steyr GB 9mm semi auto pistol. Only 927 of these military phosphate finish pistols were imported into the U.S.

These Military Models were only imported in limited quantities in 1987 for the U.S. Armed Forces new handgun evaluation tests. (Glock eventually won)

The more common commercial models have a higher polish slide and matte “crinkle” finish frame.

Includes two 18 round factory magazines (spare magazines are $250 each). The original finish is VG with some very light handling marks. Polygonal rifling is excellent and shiny.

This Steyr GB has a 5.25″ barrel and uses a delayed blow-back action with porting mid-way down the barrel. This allows for greater reliability with a variety of ammunition. Traditional DA/SA action with de-cocker. Nice wide serrated trigger. Simple to disassemble and has the typical Austrian Steyr quality made fit/finish, which is superb.

Included is a soft case, original manual and two factory mags.

It took me 14 years to find one of these. Sadly it has to go.
