AR 10 for sale.

DPMS PANTHER 308 AR10 16″ AR10

Great condition!!!. About 400 hundred rounds through it at most. I bought a case of 1000 rounds of ammo so I have been keeping track.

Bolts alone for the AR 308 are around $200.
Charging handle alone for the AR 308 are about $100.
Both of which are included.

This is a link to the closest I could find to this gun.

Reason I am selling it is I have 3 total 308 AR style rifles. They are awesome and for sure my weakness. My wife is pissed and I figure I should pass on one of my beloved guns 🙂

I would consider trade/am looking for high end AK. Like a zastava.

As mentioned, this is a great rifle. I just have 3 like this and realize that this is excessive and I have a problem.

308 is an AMAZING round. Predictable, cost effective ammo, and GREAT for long range.

When I started getting into long range shooting I was trying to decide between 308 and 6.5 creedmore.

Reasons I went with 308 are as follows…..

-I Hunt. Most of my shots on the animal are well less than 500 yards and 308 has more energy/take down in that range/distance. Good for small deer, big elk, and everything in between.

-308 is extremely predictable with drop/etc. so is accurate and repeatable.

-AMMO IS CHEAPER in 308!!! If you reload, 6.5 is a great option. If you are like me and have planned on reloading “some day” but never have followed through….. 308=WAY less expensive ammo which means more shooting!!!. It doesn’t matter if you have a Gucci gun if you cannot afford to practice and shoot with it. 308, much like 556 is an army surplus round therefore TONZ of affordable ammo out there. It keeps prices low on ammo and you can practice more at the range.
-Back to hunting. It took me a while but I have come to realize that as much as I like to think I’m an amazing shot and can take the animal in 1 shot, FLINGING MORE LEAD IN LESS TIME can mean the difference in harvesting an animal and missing out on that once in a lifetime harvest.
Seriously, there are few to no hunting semi auto hunting rifles out there. I DID A TON of research when buying this rifle. I wanted a semi auto hunting rifle. With hunting, They are ALL BOLT ACTION. It’s nuts. I’m referring to big game hunting rifles and not just plinking steel.
Id rather have semi auto and quicker follow up shots while sacrificing accuracy by quarter of an inch at 400 yards. Bolt action is more accurate by fractions of an inch. That being said, don’t forget about how important the follow up shot is. Also, you know what the difference is in 1/4″ at 400 yards when you’re hunting.?.?. Nothing!!! The end result is still a dead buck!

If you are no more than plinking steel, bolt is great. One of my three 308’s Is a bolt precision rifle. That being said, guess what rifle I hunt with? The semi auto 308. I also plink more steel with
