The prism optic has an etched reticle, so even if the batteries die on you you can still use it, unlike a traditional Red Dot Sight (it is also one of the best options if you have an astigmatism). 8.6 Blackout is also a fantastic self defense choice due to its subsonic speeds and incredible rotational energy corkscrewing it forward. The smaller size of this gun also makes adding a suppressor less inconvenient if that becomes an option down the road.

I have never taken this to the range due to current ammo prices
