Beautiful vintage Colt Python .357 Magnum revolver, serial number T36984, dating to approximately 1985. This is an original-generation Python, not one of the modern-production Colt Pythons.Features the desirable 6-inch stainless-steel barrel with the classic Python ventilated rib, full-length ejector-rod shroud/underlug, adjustable rear sight, ramp front sight, six-shot cylinder, and Colt’s renowned double-action/single-action mechanism.

The revolver is fitted with black rubber Colt grips featuring gold-colored Colt Rampant Horse medallions. These grips are period-correct in style and complement the stainless finish extremely well.

The stainless finish presents very nicely for its age, showing only normal light handling and surface marks consistent with a vintage firearm. The barrel markings are crisp and clearly show “PYTHON .357” and “.357 MAGNUM CTG.” The opposite side carries the traditional “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.” marking. Serial number T36984 is clearly stamped on the frame.
