1901 Springfield Krag 30-40

Description

Hello, I have a 1901 dated Springfield Krag.

This one is a lite sporter, due to the wood on the forend being cut back about 7-8 in, all hardware is present.

Barrel is full length and hasn’t been cut

Rear sight is missing one of its screws and the upper hand guard has small cracks.

Magazine has trouble feeding the last round probably due to a weak spring.

Bore has strong rifling, but is dark, shoots just fine despite it’s condition.

Otherwise everything functions as intended.

Looking for $400. Comes with 38 pieces of 30-40 brass and a set of Lee dies.
