Description
This is a Colt Lightning Large Frame Express Rifle. Chambered for 40-60-260 with a 28” tapered octagon barrel. Approximately 60% of its original blue finish remains. The bore rates a 6+/10. The action functions correctly.
This a a very nice Large Frame Lightning that would be a nice piece to add to anyone’s collection. Very seldom do these Large Frame Lightenings come up for sale. I would dare say that this is the first one to be offered for sale on this website.
For its age this rifle is in exceptional condition. The gun has a nice patina and the wood furniture is in wonderful condition. The checkering is well defined.
