WW2 1940 Romanian Contract VZ24 – Good Shooter

Description

WW2 German-occupation VZ24 Mauser. These were built for Romanian forces and saw lots of action on the eastern front alongside German forces.

It’s been there and done that but is clean, has a smooth action and still has a strong, tight bore that groups under 3” at 100 yards with Turkish surplus (crappy ammo).

Stock, receiver and barrel match.

Has a few solidly repaired cracks in the handguard. Stock is solid. Almost no bluing remaining except below the wood. There is some light pitting right at the wood line on the receiver.

Overall it’s a solid shooter with a lot of history and 8mm Mauser is cheap and plentiful.
