Description

World War 2 1911 A1 Manufactured by Ithica. Caliber is .45 auto of coarse. Matching slide and frame. Has all proper US property and proof markings. Serial # dates to late 1943/early 1944 depending on the source. This is not one of the CMP mixmasters floating around. I purchased this a few years ago from the estate of a family friend. He purchased it as surplus in the late 50’s. I see no markings/evidence of it being re-arsenaled or refurbished post war. Parkerized finish has some normal wear, but no bare metal, rust, pitting or anything like that. I put 7 rounds through it when I bought it then cleaned it and put it in the safe. Functioned perfectly. I will include the magazine it came with (no markings so unsure of age) as well as another modern repro 7 round mag. Also comes with period correct magazine pouch as pictured.
