Vintage U.S. Army AN/PRS-7 Mine Detector – Fourdee 4D6000 – Complete Set

Very cool and unusually complete piece of U.S. military surplus history. This is an original AN/PRS-7 portable mine detecting set, Fourdee Model 4D6000, NSN 6665-00-138-7998. The package includes the detector/search assembly, control unit, headset, cables, accessories, original hard transit case marked “U.S. PROPERTY,” and a great collection of original Department of the Army technical manuals and paperwork, including the 1980 TM 5-6665-293-13&P covering the AN/PRS-7 and this specific Fourdee model. Everything shows honest military storage/service wear and presents extremely well as a complete historical display.

This unit is NOT functional and is being sold strictly as a vintage military collectible/display piece. I have not attempted repairs or restoration and make no representation that it can be returned to operational condition. No mines, explosives, ordnance, ammunition, hazardous materials, or other prohibited items are included—only the detector equipment, accessories and documentation pictured. Local U.S. sale only. A fantastic Cold War/Vietnam-era military engineering collectible, especially with the original case and documentation still together.
