Description

It has been in the family since new.

Shiloh Sharps 1874 Hartford model chambered in 45-110 (.45 2 7/8″). Features include 30″ heavy barrel, semi fancy walnut forend and strait grip stock , 14 3/8″ LOP, color case hardened receiver and butt plate, pewter forend cap, buck-horn rear sight, blade front sight, and holes for vernier style tang sight. Weight 16lbs 8ozs. This rifle is previously owned, but in like new condition, and un-fired. All metal surfaces are in excellent condition, with no rust or corrosion anywhere. The bore is mirror bright with no imperfections. The wood is in very good condition with the exception of a small scratch on the left side of the stock near the front of the comb. It is very minor, but did slightly get into the wood. This rifle appears to never have been fired, and shows no evidence of fouling in the rifling. This would be an ideal rifle for black powder metallic cartridge silhouette competition, or any long range target application.
