Selling a Use AMT 380 Backup…………

I’m selling a used AMT/OMC model Backup, caliber .380 acp semiautomatic pistol. The gun has been used but it’s still in excellent condition. The gun has been stripped and cleaned. The bore is nice. I replaced the recoil spring and firing pin spring. The OMC company made this gun before AMT bought the company and moved to AMT in El Monte, Covina California, and Irwindale, CA. The early OMC version of the AMT had wooden grips. I have only seen the wooden grips on the OMC version, if you see them on the AMT version, someone has changed them or their aftermarket. The AMT version had plastic grips.

Model BACKUP Semi-Automatic 380 ACP Caliber Pistol Serial Number HJ-1## Manufactured in El Monte, California in the 1970s prior to AMT buying them. If you collect Auto Mag items, this pistol is one of the harder ones to find. FEATURES: Stainless Steel, Grip Safety and Manual Safety, 2.5″ Barrel, and Wood Grips.
