Savage 7mm-08 with Bushnell ELITE 3500 4-12x40mm scope (DOA 600 reticle)

Description

This youth 7mm-08 hunting rifle has been a great starter rifle for my boys as they learned to hunt. I originally purchased it for them when they were younger, and it has seen very light use over the years.

The rifle has only been on three deer hunts and has been fired fewer than 100 rounds total—likely closer to 50 rounds. Most of those shots were simply to sight in the original scope, and later to dial in the upgraded Bushnell scope that’s currently mounted on it, along with a handful of practice rounds and a couple of shots taken while hunting.

The synthetic stock does show a few light scratches, from being carried by a young hunter hiking in the mountains, but nothing that affects the performance of the rifle.

My kids have since graduated to larger calibers, so this rifle is ready for a new home. The 7mm-08 is an excellent, manageable caliber, making this a great option for a youth hunter, new hunter, or anyone looking for a lightweight, reliable deer rifle.

Overall, this has been a dependable, lightly used rifle that should serve its next owner very well.
