M1 Carbine (1944 Inland) with Ammo

Description

Barrel is marked “Inland MFG Div / General Motors / 3-44”

Receiver is marked “Inland Div” with serial number 504029_.  This serial number indicates  manufacture between 01/1944 and 08/1944.

I believe the stock is an M2 – type 4 version.  It has a “P” cartouche on the grip.

Stamped, adjustable read sight marked “JAO 7160060”

I have not detail stripped the rifle to look for markings on individual internal parts.

The rifle is in excellent condition with some minor dings on the stock.  The metal parts are parkerized.

3 @ 15-round magazines (2 are marked Underwood and 1 is marked Saginaw)

2 @ 5-round magazines

Sling

Magazine pouch

M4 bayonet with M8A1 scabbard

441 rounds of FMJ ammo (loose mix of Remington, Winchester, and Federal)
