Background Check Fee

• $7.⁵⁰
  This fee is assessed by the Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI).
  FREE For Utah Concealed Firearm Permit Holders.
  Utah residents with a valid Utah Concealed Firearm Permit are exempt from the background check fee ONLY if the permit is provided at the time of the transfer and verification has been completed.

If you purchase a firearm online just select Utah FAST as the FFL to have the firearm shipped to. If you’re getting an NFA Firearm (silencer, SBR, etc.) we do everything for you making the process more convenient, easier, and quicker than anyone else.
