This is one of four vintage revolvers from a family estate, each listed separately. Buy any two and take 10% off the total. Buy three or all four and take 15% off. Message me for combo pricing.
High Standard Double-Nine, Model W-101, a 9-shot .22 revolver with western styling and a swing-out cylinder. Barrel is marked “HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP. HAMDEN, CONN. U.S.A.” and “DOUBLE-NINE .22 CAL.” The Hamden address and serial range point to the early to mid 1960s. The W-101 has an alloy frame, which is why the frame finish is matte gray next to the blued barrel and cylinder. Serial ends in 9450. Barrel length: ~4 1/2″.
Includes the original High Standard imitation-ivory grips with eagle medallions and a basketweave leather holster.
Condition: Barrel bluing is good. There is finish wear on the frame near the hammer and cylinder, bare steel wear on the hammer and ejector rod, and light dings around the chamber mouths on the cylinder face. Function has not been tested by me, so please inspect it. The photos show its true condition.
