Beautiful custom sporting rifle built on an original U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 action.

This is not an original military-configuration M1903. It is a quality custom sporting conversion in .35 Whelen. The builder has not been positively identified, so I am not representing it as a Griffin & Howe, Pachmayr, or other named custom maker.

The .35 Whelen is a classic pairing with the 1903 Springfield action and has a long history as a powerful North American hunting-rifle combination.

Overall, this is a very nice example of an old-school American custom Springfield hunting rifle with a 100+ year-old Springfield action.
