I bought this a bit ago and haven’t gotten around to taking it hunting, so here it is to be enjoyed by someone else. This is an absolutely fantastic rifle. Custom built on a Czech Mauser 98 action, it’s been parkerized and looks like new.

Cost to build the rifle alone looks to have been around $1,300. Round count is <100, accuracy has been MOA or better, weight is around 6.5 lbs. Threaded barrel, picatinny scope base, dead reliable and strong controlled round feed that’s made this action dominant for 125+ years.

The .280 AI is also a nearly perfect western hunting cartridge, do your reading and see for yourself. Low recoil, flat shooting, hard hitting, great wind resistance. If you wanted one heirloom quality rifle to do it all and be practical as it gets, you’ve found it.

Also included are 2 full boxes of top quality factory ammo, Hornady custom grade dies, Nosler brass, and ELD-X and ballistic tip projectiles. Some of this is loaded in some developmental rounds. That’s about $300 in extras, with a $1300 rifle, for the price of most entry-level hunting rifles on the market.
