Bulova MIL-SHIPS Diver Archive Series

This is a beautiful bulova archive series special edition MIL-SHIPS diver reference 98A266 in 41mm. It comes as a complete set with boxes and digital manual, on its original blue textile nato strap along with an added aftermarket stainless bracelet. This timepiece has an interesting and very cool history. This watch is a reissue of a prototype or a watch that was never issued in the first place. It was originally developed by bulova in the 1950s for the NAVY Bureau of Ships but did not meet the standards the NAVY was looking for. Bulova, unwilling to re-engineer the design scrapped it. It was shelved and forgotten for some 60+ years…until now! And now this awesome watch has been perfected. Looking to trade for a newer PPKS or full size 1911 or possibly a snubby revolver. Trade value must be around $750. Otherwise I’ll take $595 cash
