This 1961 Dodge D500 medium-duty dump truck is in exceptional, turnkey mechanical health and is ready for the farm, homestead, or your local vintage truck collection.

The industrial 318 V8 starts immediately, runs incredibly smoothly, holds excellent oil pressure, does NOT smoke and is mechanically rock-solid. It has brand a new battery. Nearly new heavy-duty commercial truck tires. Fully functioning PTO. The dump bed lifts and lowers smoothly under its own power. There is a minor leak at an O-ring, that leaks only while raising the bed, but the system holds excellent pressure.

Decent paint job; perfect for a working truck you don’t have to worry about scratching. The main cab structure, floorboards, and cab corners are solid. There are only small, typical patches of minor rust at the very bottom of the driver and passenger doors.

This is an incredibly honest, reliable, and functional piece of vintage American iron. Much of the heavy-lifting has already been done with the newer tires, new battery, and pristine engine health.
