One Owner Belgian Browning SA-22 Grade II Semi Auto Takedown Rifle, .22 LR. Circa 1963

This beautiful gun was my fathers, and it was extremely well preserved. The rifle includes all original packaging and box. It has the original sales receipt from Browning and also the original receipt from the gun store it was purchased at. This gun is in new condition.

Manufactured in Belgium in 1963 for Browning, this elegant takedown rifle features a 19-inch blued round barrel equipped with a rear flip-up adjustable leaf sight and a brass bead front sight.
Coin finished receiver features 90% engraved coverage. Both sides feature deep relief engraving highlighting a woodland scene with an English hunting dog and pheasants on the left, and ducks on the right side. Each scene is flanked with a beautiful floral scroll motif. Top of the receiver features a dog with a downed duck in its mouth framed in an exquisite floral scroll motif.
Trigger guard is also engraved with a floral scroll design along the bottom. Gold washed trigger, crossbolt safety and stock fed magazine tube. Grade III nicely figured walnut stock and forearm with three-point skip-line checkered pistol grip and forearm. Fitted with a factory steel butt plate. LOP: 13-3/4″. CALIBER: 22 LR.
