Description

This is a 1967068 produced Colt 1911 World War I commemorative. Colt produced four pistols, each commemorating an important battle in the war for the United States. This one is for the Marine battle of Belleau Wood. It is produced to 1911, not 1911A1 specifications. It has an absolutely beautiful Colt blue finish, with roll engraving and beautiful wood grips. Comes with the Colt factory display case for the pistol. Photos do not do this justice. It is a beautiful example of Colt craftsmanship.
