Genuine WWI-era British Lee-Enfield SMLE No. 1 Mk III* chambered in .303 British.

Enfield manufacture, dated 1917, with the King George V crown/GR markings still clearly visible.

Rifle was sporterized years ago into a hunting configuration, so it’s not being represented as an untouched collector rifle. Wood looks good for its age and the rifle has the classic smooth Lee-Enfield bolt action.

Includes the original-style 10-round detachable magazine and sling shown in the photos.

A neat 109-year-old piece of British military history that would make a good shooter, hunting rifle, or affordable WWI Enfield for someone who doesn’t want to pay collector prices.
