Antique Double Barrel 12ga Shotgun

Antique W&J Davis of Birmingham side by side 12 gauge shotgun.

This is a really cool antique shotgun produced in England between 1887 and 1896 based on my research. It has damascus twist barrels and engraving over the whole action. The gun is fully functional, with a little play in the lockup. It is not recommended to fire modern shotgun shells, only blackpowder. 2 3/4″ shells fit, but I believe the chambers to be 2 1/2″ or 2 5/8″ as many shotguns from the late 1800s have. Even if not shot, would still make a cool wall hanger / conversation piece.
