Ruger .44 magnum Carbine As far as my research takes me, this gun was manufactured in 1963. The .44 Magnum Carbine was manufactured from 1961 to 1974 as far as I know.

This was by far my favorite “Pig” gun.  Even a full bore charge from a 200 or 300 pound pig, I knew that I could count on slamming him to the ground with a headshot, stopping him in his tracks.

Before anyone tries to lowball me on the value of this particular gun, search the value of the gun on line.  One of the most prevalent complaints from owners that had the gun, and sold them, was,  “I wish I hadn’t sold it”.  I have seen listings as high as a couple of thousand for one in pristine condition (in the original box).  Even though this one is not in pristine condition (aluminum trigger guard has a few nicks, but the stock and mechanics are as close to pristine as you can get-there are three slight scratches next to the receiver).

An unforeseen divorce requires me to do a serious downsize of many of my prized toys.
