Used Helle Utaever Hunting Knife msrp over $225

Description

Key Features & PerformancePerformance: The 12C27 steel offers high corrosion resistance and toughness, making it excellent for camp chores and food prep, while holding its edge well during wood-carving tasks. It handles batoning, but is more of a refined carver than a heavy chopper.Design: As Helle’s first full-tang, it offers a robust, modern-meets-traditional feel. The curly birch handle is praised for being comfortable, though it may feel small to those with very large hands.Usage: The spine is capable of striking a ferro rod, and the extended pommel can be used for light hammering or nut-cracking.Sheath: Comes with a high-quality, genuine leather sheath that fits the knife securely, although some users find the fit too snug, causing the blade to cut the leather if not aligned properly.ProsExtremely Sharp: Exceptional out-of-the-box sharpness.Durable Build: Robust full-tang construction with high-quality materials.Versatile: Excellent for bushcraft, carving, and food prep.Aesthetics: Beautifully finished, with classic Scandinavian styling.
