Description

Authentic WWII .45 ACP Brass – E C S 43 Headstamp – Evansville Chrysler Sunbeam – 1943 Production

Offering a lot of approximately 1,000 pieces of genuine WWII-era .45 ACP brass casings, all with the E C S 43 military headstamp.
This headstamp was produced in 1943 by the Evansville Chrysler Sunbeam Ordnance Plant, one of the major U.S. wartime ammunition factories.

These casings were stored indoors for decades, kept dry, and remain in very good collectible condition. They are roughly 1 inch long (.45 ACP) and have the classic wartime primer crimp.

What’s Included:

• Approximately 1,000 fired .45 ACP brass casings
• All headstamped E C S 43 (Evansville Chrysler Sunbeam, 1943)
• Clean, bright, and ready for display or sorting
• Stored in a WWII M2 AP ammo can (can included if desired—see shipping notes)

Condition:

• Fired brass casings
• NO live ammunition, NO bullets, NO powder, NO live primers
• Brass is in remarkably good shape for being 80+ years old
• Light tarnish consistent with age; many pieces surprisingly clean
• Great for collectors, display builds, militaria, trench-art, or reloading (inspect before use)

About the Ammo Can (Optional):

If the buyer wants it included, this lot comes with an original U.S. WWII ammo can stenciled:

264 CARTRIDGES
CAL .30 AP M2
IN 8 RD CLIPS
LOT FA-49015

Frankford Arsenal cans are collectible in their own right and often sell for $25–$45 alone.

Depending on total weight, the ammo can may ship separately.

Why Collectors Like E C S Brass

Evansville Chrysler was one of the primary wartime .45 ACP producers.
The E C and E C S headstamps are historically significant as they armed:

• The M1911 pistol
• The Thompson SMG
• The M3 “Grease Gun”

This brass is an excellent addition for WWII ordnance collectors, reenactors, display projects, or shadow boxes.

Shipping:

• Ships via USPS or UPS, well-packed and secure
• Ammo can may require separate shipment if included
• U.S. sales only—no international shipments

Legal Notice:

These are empty, fired brass casings only.
They contain no live components and fully comply with eBay ammunition policies.

Final Notes:

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a large lot of E C S 43 WWII .45 ACP brass in very solid condition. Perfect for collectors or anyone who appreciates U.S. wartime history.
