Up for sale is a Remington 870 Competition Trap, 12 gauge, chambered for 2¾” shells only. These were only produced for a few years in the early 1980s and are unique in being gas-operated 870s, built specifically for trapshooting. The gas system greatly reduces recoil, making it one of the smoothest shooting 870 variants ever made.

This shotgun is in excellent condition with strong bluing, tight action, clean bore, and nice walnut furniture. The stock and forearm both show only light handling marks and retain great finish. Perfect for a collector, trap shooter, or someone who wants a rare piece of Remington history.
