Description

Weatherby Athena over/under, 12 gauge with 3″ chambers. Japanese-made during the SKB production era — barrel marked “South Gate, Calif – Made in Japan” (photos show all markings). This was Weatherby’s flagship shotgun: engraved coin-finish sideplate receiver, single selective trigger, auto ejectors, and gorgeous high-gloss select walnut with hand-cut checkering. Wood and metal are in excellent condition — see photos. Barrels threaded for the IMC choke system (Briley compatible). [Choke tubes and wrench included / No tubes included.] Discontinued for decades and getting harder to find this clean. Great clays gun or upland piece with real presence at the range.
