Great shooting M38 Carbine!
This is an M1938 Russian Carbine (Manufactured at the Izhevsk Arsenal in 1941).
This gun is a cool piece of history, and a blast to shoot. It has the correct M38 wartime stock (no bayonet groove), which has some wear. All components except the butt plate are factory matching with the original alpha-numeric part markings from Izhevsk. Overall it’s in great shape for an 80+ year old service weapon. The stock has a pretty standard repair right behind the bolt. Gun shoots great and functions flawlessly.
