Rare MK318 Mod 1 (5.56 nato)

Description

I’ve got some rarer ammo up for sale. I purchased this years ago from crate holdings ammo for way too much per round. Never got around to testing any of it, figured I’d let it go.

The development program for this round was spearheaded by the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division to address the shortcomings of standard M855 ammunition in short-barreled rifles (SBRs) used by Special Operations and Marines. This was their answer, but was superseded by the M855A1 soon after.

This is a copper core, zinc plated bullet, with an improved nose cone over the original mod 0, giving it a higher bc.

Only place I can find it is on gunbroker for over 105 bucks a box haha. Asking 150 for these 3 boxes. Also open to trades. Cash or venmo preferred. Local pickup, thanks.
